MOI Minerals FOTD

Before I head out and run some errands I took a few shots of my make-up. I refuse to believe Winter is almost here so I used a lot of warm, rich tropical shades from MOI Minerals. 

 

The colors I used are: Shimmers & Pearls (highlight), Raze (inner corner of eye), Talk Dirty To Me (center lid), Haunted (crease) & Pink Stiletto. I absolutely LOVE Haunted. It is a gorgeous orangey shade with some pink in it. Honestly one of my fav colors MOI has available.

On my lips I mixed OCC Lip Tars in Interlace & Femme but applied a bit of gloss on top to jazz it up a bit.  I typically don't wear gloss because the texture weirds me out and I usually apply too much. I'm still learning the fine line between a light sheer application and too much it "dilutes" the lipstick or Lip Tar.

MOI Minerals: More Swatches

Happy day! I have some new MOI Minerals to share with you today! I'm so excited about this package because there was a slight debacle receiving it. I had placed my original order at the end of August/beginning of September but since MOI is located in Nova Scotia I'm not counting on the calendar for its delivery due to customs. My sister lives in Canada so I know how long packages can get held up going through. However by the 3rd week in September I contacted Holly at MOI about my missing package.

Holly is SO sweet to deal with. Upon receiving my message she wrote me back and had already got another package together to ship out to me - no questions asked. That speaks leaps and bounds to me about an indie (or any) companies customer service. I really appreciated what she did for me and I had to tell you about MOI's customer service before I got into the goods.

All these colors are pretty fantastic. It was hard to capture the awesomeness of the shadows due to poor lightning (thanks rain clouds) however there wasn't a single shadow I didn't like out of this order. Even Galaxy is pretty fly. Its a purple-black which really shows up in the light. These swatches were applied dry so imagine how stellar they'd be on a base or primer!

It's a bit cool outside here in MA lately so I wanted to be a bit tropical for just a little longer considering there will be snow on the ground before I know it. >.<  Hope you enjoy the look!

I've been rockin' a ton of MOI Minerals lately. I dig their colors and their blending potential. I was feeling very "berry" today so I wanted to rock some of MOI's beautiful purples & pinks.

Lately I've been digging any and all Earth tone shadows so I decided to dip into my MOI Minerals stash and put a look together! I used the following minerals: Maria, Poison Ivy & the Till Death Do Us Part Collection (Zombie Groom & Zombie Bride).

I knew as soon as I saw it I would love the Till Death Do Us Part Collection and boy I was right. Both colors are phenomenal especially Zombie Bride which is a great highlight. I am pretty partial to green shadows. You can't go wrong for the price of $9.00 either.

I'll definitely be ordering more shadows from MOI Minerals & Cosmetics!

MOI Minerals FOTD

So I haven't had too much of a chance to play around with the new MOI Minerals I received in the mail the other day so I wanted to post a quick look today to show you guys how some of the shadows wear!

The colors used were: Cactus, Lime Lights, Copper and DiJon

Overall the shadows apply very smoothly and blend well! Yesterday I was rocking this look and it lasted all day at work. Plus it didn't melt off when I stepped out into Hades....I mean Massachusetts. 80 degrees at 10:30pm is just way too gross for me.

The eye minerals used to create this look were; Talk Dirty To Me, Cactus, Sailors Delight, Copper & Black Raspberry.
