Beauty From The Earth: Reds, Highlights & Black/Grey Mineral Swatches

Besides green eye shadows I absolutely LOVE red shadows! These pictures may explain why I have almost every red from Beauty From The Earth. They have the biggest selection of quality reds that I've found online.

Red River, Vamp, Spank Me, A La Rose, Super Nova & Love Slave

Red River is my ultimate jam when I'm creating a sunset look. Its a perfect matte brick red. Highly recommended by moi!

Isis, Superheat, Black Cherry, Vixen, Firestarter & Addicted

First off, Isis gives me the fevah. It's amazing in person and is a true blood red. Superheat, Vixen & Firestarter are gorgeous and loaded with glitter of different colors that I wish my camera was able to pick up on.
Oxford, Bubbly, Beautiful, Butt Naked, Diamonds & Whisper
Crystal, Misty, Suede, Very Vanilla & Journey
Meteor Showers *Full of Rainbow Glitter*, Bondage, Alakazam & Black

Beauty From The Earth: Teal & Green Mineral Swatches

Since I was trapped inside due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene earlier this week I decided it was about time that I swatched my entire BFTE Collection. Today I'm sharing the Teals & Green swatches with you.

Caribbean, Tickle Me, Gem, 7 Seas, Spoiled & Walking On Water
Marina, Illusion, Seafoam, Message In A Bottle, Atomic Teal & Aqua

G. Kelly, Emerald, Bing, Tropical, Voodoo & Bombshell
Tropical is an amazing color because its green but when wet/foiled has a blue tone to it (I wet half the swatch to show you). Also, I'd like to note that Voodoo is an amazing green with lots of gold in it that my camera did not pick up. One of my personal fav greens.

Ying Yang, Lucky Me, Pricked, Lavish, Spring Moss & Cheap Thrills
Hocus Pocus, Trinity, Saturday Morning, Evergreen, Erase The Stigma & Grassy
Pizzaz, Celeste, 1939, Pegasus, Cool Mist & Jaded
Pizzaz and Celeste are beautiful colors that I highly recommend. Pizzaz has all kinds of different color (purple/gold/pinky) glittery goodness that we love in it!

Poison Brew, Green Apple, Limeaide & Nani
Lichen, Utopia, Mint & Guilty
My one true love, green, oh how I plan on owning ALL of the BFTE green line! Any suggestions for some BFTE greens that I should get my paws on?

Beauty From The Earth: Brown & Gold Mineral Swatches

I don't wear neutral tones often but Beauty From The Earth has the most amazing selection <3

Hangover is also a matte orange - sneaky thing snuck its way into the neutrals!

Hangover, Fawn, 24K, Autumn, Whimsey & Big Island
Mudslide, Baked, Wizards Wand, Truffle, Long Way Down & Amber
Gable, Celtic Charms, Treason, Copper Cauldron, Mississippi Mud & Afterthought

This last swatch is made of win. Every single color is gorgeous and on my recommended must have list. Gable is one of the prettiest brown/w gold shades I own in my entire collection. Mississippi Mud is the ultimate crease defining brown!
Heat, Romeo, Riddle, Honey & Outsider
Some of these colors, i.e. Riddle, are much more awesome in person and have a duo chromey goodness that can't seem to be captured by my camera!

SweetPea & Fay

I recently was sent some samples of SweetPea & Fay from my friend Christina at Confessions of a Glitterholic. I wanted to post some pics and swatches for you.

Super Duper, Sweet Pea & Boys w/ Accents

As you can see the presentation on the jars are lovely and complete with ingredients listed on bottom. Major plus for me, as I'm a bit hesitant if that info is M.I.A. The jars are packed full of goodness and come with sifters. The pigments were applied without primer and swatched beautifully. This was my first time using any of their products and I like what I'm seeing - which is bright bold colors applying smooth & no streakiness.

This would be a company I would purchase from in the future to try more minerals out - especially since they have 68 different shades to choose from on their Etsy store! I'm in love with the Sweet Pea, as I am a complete sucker for any green or chartruese eye shadow.

SweetPea & Fay can be found on Facebook & their Etsy store.

Sleek MakeUp: Original & Storm Palettes

My mailman must think I have "problems" with all the packages I've been getting lately! Arriving in a white mailer from the UK was my Sleek MakeUp: Original & Storm Palettes.

I had to have the Original Palette after I saw swatches online.

In the Storm Palette there are 3 matte shadows. I don't know if my skin is like kryptonite to Sleek Matte's but I seriously cannot swatch them well at all. They seem to be very streaky and the pigmentation is no where near their shimmery/glittery shadows.

Even with my difficulty with swatching the mattes I still feel both palettes are well worth the $10 price tag! I've used each Sleek palette I own and don't regret purchasing them. If you don't mind the $13.50 S&H fee to ship international (if you aren't lucky enough to live in Europe) then I think these are a great investment. I look forward to the new collections Sleek puts out in the future.

Urban Decay: 15th Anniversary Palette

Praise! The Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette arrived via UPS yesterday and I'm thrilled! This limited edition palette is gorgeous. It retails for $55.00 and can be purchased via Urban Decay, Sephora or Ulta

The great perk to this collection is all 15 shadows are brand new and exclusive to this one palette. If you own any Urban Decay palettes you know that they do double expose colors throughout their collections. No worries about that with this beauty!

Forgive the finger prints.

The presentation is top notch! I literally just stared at it for a good minute looking at all the detail to the packaging and case itself. The Collection is placed within a purple velour tray and is quite a snug fit. The case to this palette is all mirror/reflective material (there's also a full mirror under the lid) so I apologize for the photos/fingerprints. I sadly did not have a black or white background to shoot these photos on (the base of the palette is purple).

Midnight Rodeo, Midnight 15, Vanilla, Flow & Chase

Tainted, Junkshow, Omen, Evidence & Deep End
Deeper, M.I.A, Ace, Blackout & Half Truth
All of the eye shadows are fantastic and pigmented! I was debating between this Collection & the Naked Palette. What sold me on the 15 Year palette is there's a great mix of bright & neutral shadows. So if I want to go neutral I have options or if I want to go tropical I'm covered too or I can incorporate a little of both into one look. I'm into having options when I drop $55 clams on a palette. I think I'll eventually acquire the Naked Palette but this certainly suits my needs for now.

Midnight Rodeo (Bronzey Brown w/ Gold Glitter)
Midnight 15 (Honey/Taupe)
Vanilla (Light Yellow Gold/Shimmer)
Flow (Peach w/ Goldy Shimmer)
Chase (Med Brown/Copper)

Tainted (Pink w/ Gold Undertone)
Junkshow (Fuchsia/Pink w/ Blue Undertone)
Omen (Lavender Purple w/Blue Duochrome)
Evidence (Dark Blue w/ Blue Reflects/Black Base)
Deep End (Bright Tealy Goodness)

Deeper (Bronzey/Golden Brown)
M.I.A. (Dark/Cocoa Brown)
Ace (Gun Metal w/Silver Reflects)
Blackout (Perfect Black)
Half Truth (Shimmery Iridescent Purple)

Do I think the palette is worth the money? Indeed I do and look forward to having it in my stash.
