Inglot Cosmetics: Swatch Fest!

During Black Friday weekend Inglot was offering a stellar sale, 15% off the entire site with free shipping, and since they never have sales I jumped all over it. I ordered 3 Freedom 10 pan palettes & 30 shadows. I re-worked the one 10 pan palette I had already to color theme into the shades I purchased. So there will be some duplicate swatches from my prior Inglot post here with the new.

I have to say I love Inglot eyeshadows. They are so soft and velvety yet highly pigmented. All swatches I posted are without a primer and even the photo's don't do the products justice.

Processing time for the order was a bit lengthy, 7 days from order date til when I was generated a shipping confirmation, and then 2 days in transit from Brooklyn to Massachusetts. Items were sent in a yellow bubble mailer wrapped in bubble wrap. My package was a bit beat up but everything was intact. I was a bit surprised because I expected something a bit 'classier' from a brand like Inglot, maybe a box for better protection? This was my first order direct from Inglot so it is possible they were overwhelmed with Black Friday sales.

My main gripe about the entire experience is Inglots website. It is a bit frustrating even a tad overwhelming to use when attempting an order (esp a larger one). There are no swatches of products and a lot of the display colors look alike nor is there an easy way to differentiate the colors. You scroll through colors, entering the quantity desired in the box next to color, and add to cart when finished. It would be super awesome if the colors had descriptions or swatches since Inglot chooses to label their selection by numbers and not names.

Overall I love the product so much I plan on ordering from Inglot again - even if it means headache central when navigating/looking up swatches on other sites because I have to get my hands on some of their pinks & purples. I hope you enjoyed the swatches and as always, Thanks for Reading! XOXO

Inglot Cosmetics: PT 2

Another friend of mine was unloading an extra Inglot palette of hers and I had to scoop it up. It has all the colors in it I love the most - Earth Tones! Not to mention it's a perfect time to sport all these colors since its Fall.

Top Row: 35 Shine, 30 Shine, 08 Shine, 430 Pearl & 25 Shine
Bottom Row: 11 Shine, 09 Shine, 406 Pearl, 419 Pearl & 418 Pearl

35 Shine, 30 Shine, 08 Shine, 430 Pearl & 25 Shine

35 Shine, 30 Shine, 08 Shine, 430 Pearl & 25 Shine

11 Shine, 09 Shine, 406 Pearl, 419 Pearl & 418 Pearl

11 Shine, 09 Shine, 406 Pearl, 419 Pearl & 418 Pearl

I am in love with Inglot shadows. The Freedom Palettes are pretty stellar since you get to create your own custom palette. The shadows themselves are smooth and soft to the touch. Care must be taken when removing the pans from the magnetic palettes as its really easy to dent the eyeshadow trying to get them out.

Inglot is a brand I look to further expand my collection on as they have a stunning array of greens and blues I'm dying to get my hands on.

Do you own any Inglot eyeshadows? Have any suggestions for must have colors? Please let me know! <3

Inglot Cosmetics

One of my dear friends was selling her 3 pan palette from Inglot Cosmetics so I had to snatch it up because Inglot is a company I've always wanted to try. Inglot is a higher end cosmetic company which offers you the 'Freedom System' of custom building a palette to your liking. You purchase the empty palettes (with numerous styles to choose from) and then pick the eyeshadow shades (or blush) you'd like. If that's not for you they do sell individual eyeshadow pots. Just browsing their website can be overwhelming considering the choices you have.

The 3 pan palette I picked up is more of a neutral palette and away from what I normally wear - which is bright in your face colors.

These colors are very beautiful. I was impressed by the texture of the eyeshadow itself when I was swatching. It was velvety smooth and took only two swipes on my arm to create each swatch so the product is definitely pigmented.
 (L - R)
DS 465: Brown w/ Gold Flecks
 399 Pearl: Shimmery Dusty Pink/Tan
362 Matte: Raspberry/Bubblegum Pink

I loved how this looks in person. This is the first neutral look I've done in a long time and it's a little weird for me - not going to lie. Since I wanted to go a bit more natural I'm not wearing any false lashes in these pictures. However I felt really 'naked' without them so here's a pic of me /with/ false lashes.

Thanks for reading! XOXO
